According to the Weather Channel, this morning the windchill was -28°f. It’s the middle of November! Gregory keeps trying to convince me I’m a northern woman now, but I miss the 70° Oklahoma autumn days. A a clear sky and thick morning fog created these gorgeous conditions so I ventured out in the freezing temps to capture the hoarfrost while Greg stayed cozy under our down comforter at home.

Giant Springs State Park

The Roe River, flowing out of Giant Springs and 200 feet into the Missouri, is the shortest river in the world according to Guinness.

I lost feeling in my fingers and toes, and my eyes were partially frozen shut, but it was worth it for this gorgeous morning by the mighty Mo.
